25 things about me

An attempt to think of 25 things about me. Believe me.. its not easy!

01. I cant write.
02. I am an epitome of confusion.
03. every other line in my chat is ':P'.. and whenever i type the emoticon i actually put my tongue out :P
04. I usually listen to the same set of songs.. apprehensive about trying a different play list.
05. I hate birds.
06. I have no secrets whatsoever.. (I try hard to keep .. but end up being a big blabber mouth :P )
07. people around me say that i am one of the worsht singers ever.I think they are just jealous :D
08. I love to talk.I hardly ever give the other person a chance to talk.
09. I used to hate to bitch about ppl when they are not around...but gone are those days!
10. I just love bakery items.
11. I cant think of a movie for which i haven cried atleast for one scene.. (babyz day out.. I almost cried)
12. I can drink tea any number of times, any amount. I have been doing so since i was 2 years old!
13. I try to be a polyglot.. but end up not knowing which language i am speaking :P
14. I consider myself to be a typical example of jack of all trades master of none.
15. I had a tough time spotting the ' Wall ' in face book:P
16. I love sports.can watch any kinda sport.. gilli danda included!!
17. I have been paid to just sit in one place for one hour and not talk.. then the task was reduced to just sit.. even that i dint manage!
18.I think i am no one to judge others.
19. every time i walked into my music class i have yawned like i have never slept before.
20. I think Test Cricket is the best form of cricket.
21. I totally believe in Karma.
22. I hate cutting vegetables otherwise think that cooking is a very interesting thing to do. Who cares if others like it or not !!
23. Have never been able to figure what i really want to become.. or who am i.. the eternal Question! I dont wanna answer it either.. Liife would be boring when ya already know what you have to do!
24. I think every individual is different and there are loads of things to learn from everyone.

Cook up a Plan!

For some weird reason I think 2 day weekend is too long esp when all your friends are busy invigilating or very far away or forget to call you for a movie (:|)! That’s how it was for me this weekend. I was just bumming around at home for 2 full days. Dreading to start a no-plan weekend, I left from office very late. For clarifications -I was not working. I was just staring at the monitor for a very long time! eventually i did force myself to move from office and though i knew the roads will be jammed, I took the bus. IT folks clog the road to majestic and richmond on friday evenings.. i dint want to complain.. atleast they had a plan... to go home. There is only one hindi Radio station in Blore and they play the same songs again and again and the RJ's repetitive "yen song play madli ningosakara " is very very irritating at times. So instead of getting myself bit by the RJz words, I started calling up my auntsnd did some Bonding :P i had just enuf time to call just 3 of them when i reached home(sooper bonding:) ) ! I directly went to my Patiz house as Aavi was going to madras. I ate and slept till next day evening. NOthing but that! the boredom was killing me and the book that div gave me to read.. believe me i tried my level best to concentrate and understand whatever the author was trying to say.. NOt a thing i could understand.. Not a thing! I believe it was something happenin in a different planet or universe.. may be!
The high point came when me and Div decided to cook on Sunday. I was all enthued!! we decided on the menu and wrote down the reciepe and also things to buy. Both of us set off to Sankey! I shall soon write about Sankey.. one of my most fav places in Bangy! On the way back I got "curious Case of Benjamin Button", an amazing movie. Though a little drag in the beginning, I thought the movie was brilliant and Hats-Off to Brad Pitt. Never knew he could act so well :P

According to the cooking plan, we were supposed to cook at my place, malleshwaram and folks from home would come there to eat. But for some reasons thatha refused to come. So next day morning i changed the plan and cooked at patiz place. The main reason being.. I had no idea how to cook whatever we had planned to. The Quantity and the order is very confusing. I dint want to be disappointed by cooking something very bad the very first time! SO pati and mami helped us out and the menu which was - Vangayam Sambar, Urlakazhangu Kai, Poondu rasam and thair sadam came out really really well. We of course took pics and posted them .. so that we remember that once upon a time we cooked and shall bask in that glory forever . and that is a plan!
Again a walk to Sankey, Ice cream at Flavours and Friends season 9 gave a good finishing to the otherwise no-plan weekend! :)

eventful weekend!

It all started after my presentation got over. All the jobless heads wanted to do something interesting and so the plan for going to "luck by chance" emerged. We had not heard much about the movie but for the songs and the hero - the director turned singer turned actor, Farhan Aktar! After a lot of discussion over Gtalk which eventually crashed a lot number of times, we decided the venue and the time. All that was remaining was booking the ticket which Aavi wud take care of with her "new citibank card".But alas! the site crashed as well (she lost 1300 which is supposed to be put back into her account soon.. we gotta wait n watch!). This dint stop us. Aavi went to our dear KAVERI (our dear cos its right next door 1.5 kms fro mour house) and got the tickets booked for the night show. So me, Aavi, her friend and ma cousin were all set to go for the night show and after the movie ma cousin wud crash at our house. That was the plan! I was just toooo lazy that day. Instead of going home(malleswaram) directly I went to my cousinz place to pick her up (good intentions!) It just dint occur to me that parents might not like the idea of their children going for night shows... as usual i went in and jumped(dont know why i was so excited) saying i had tickets for the nite show. My cousin had the killing look on her face. She had already spun a story for coming to my house and bunking there for the night. My unexpected entry home had all of that going a waste. So we had to communicate over cell phone (thanks Spice for free messaging Service!) about a new story. I am very bad at lying. I would laugh away and no body ever buys my story. So i left it to the pro and she did an excellent job and we were off to "my house" supposedly. We met aavi and her friend at the theatre. The show began. Nothing much to say about the movie but for " thank god! I dint go to Inox and waste 250 for this!!" and decided that from now on all movies, good or bad, ll be watched at KAVERI!
In the rick on the way back home all i could think of was the mangalore pub incident.. I always have wrong thoughts at wrong places! but somehow fighting the thought and forcing myself to think positive, we reached home and crashed.
ma cousin had to get up by 8 to keep the story and us alive. so we woke up pretty early for a saturday morning and watched 9x and zoom (current fav channels :P )for a while. the i decided to spend time usefully. So I borrowed Aaviz laptop and watched "freedom Writers". A very very nice movie. ofcourse i cried like crazy.. so excercised my eyes! we were too lazy to cook and i was even more lazy to go out and eat. After having the food tht aavi got from a resturant near by, we both watched the Australian open Womenz final and regretted it.. even Serena would have! To console ourselves we watched Ind vs Slanka cricket match as well but eventually slept off :P
We had to go for KK concert in the evening. I was to meet Prateek and his frnd at Brigade road and then reach IIMB directly. all of us were suppsoed to meet at IIMB. I had no idea ALL included who all! By the time i reached IIM, teju was already there with her friends ( part of all) and mittu was waiting for her friend. By the time my friends (shantya, neelesh, aavi, sumeet)reached, there was a loong long queue and sorry to say, the management guys weren good at managing the event. There was a huge mess. Anyway, finally the concert began and it was good and we all had fun!
After the concert me, shantya and prateek (the hookah boy!) went to paramount where we were forced to eat some bloody bad buffet at 12 in the night. It was for the hookah and the hookah boy we went to that place. After that i stayed over at my friendz place and next day afternoon me and shantya came home (malleshwaram) to watch the match.
We ordered chinesse food and were all set to watch the match. Aavi joined us. Haa.. Whatte match! Outstanding performance by both of them. I thought Fed should have tried a lil harder in the last set.. a little. but nothin to take away from Nadal. Brillaiant brilliant performace. Damn it! he is just 21!
After the awsome match.. i went to my patiz house and yapped for a while about depression and changes in Bcom and Sun.
It was an eventful weekend!
